The students can complete the daily Active Home calendar suggestions and fitness activities associated with each day this week. Try each activity to the best of your abiltiy and push through when the going gets tough. Students can use attached documents to keep up with the terminology associated with fitness related activites. The diagrams are also useful to allow you to see the proper technique and form when completing the daily activites.

Students can continue to work on their November DEAM Calendars trying to complete as many parts as possible before returning to school. Keep active and stay safe when outdoors this week.

If you are looking for an extra challenge this week I have also attached the Fitness Forward Choice Board students can try. The goal is to complete as may activities as possible to the best of your ability.

Enjoy the Rememberance day ceremony on Thursday and I hope all can attend a ceremony in one form or another to show respect for those who gave so much for our freedoms.

If you have any questions or concerns or would like to submit your completed challenges to me please send them along to david.mason@nbed.nb.ca.

Have a great week and hope to see you all again soon...

This week I wold like you to continue to work on the DEAM calendar for November and try to complete as many parts as possible. Students can then complete the daily activities on the Active Home calendar completeing as many as the activities possible to the best of your ability. If more work is needed I attached a Fitness forward choice board as a challenge for those looking for that extra challenge. Try your best to complete at least 10 of the 12 activites following the directions provided on the sheet. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me by email david.mason@nbed,nb.ca.  Have a great week everyone and get outside and stay safe. Hope to see you soon......

Today's challenge for the Millerton Bears participants is to go for a minimum of a 30 min to 1 hr walk. As you are walking with a family member or friend see how many pieces of recyclables/garbage you can collect on your walk. Reminder it might be easier to bring home if you have a bag with you on your walk. There are many benefits from helping out in the community: exercise, community cleanup and self satisfaction you get from helping out. If you wish when you return with your treasures you can take a pic and send it off to david.mason@nbed.nb.ca.

Hope you get out to enjoy this beatiful day and check back in next week for more exercises/activities and adventures to come. Take care and we will be in touch soon.

Hope all the students are doing well and I hope to see you all again soon.

Middle school can practice dribbling, passing with a wall or friend, and shooting skills a continuation of what we have been workiing on in class the last few weeks.

Today is a beautiful day so try to get outside today for at least 30minutes. Therre are many things to do a few examples: rake leaves, hang out clothes, help clean the garage/house/room, or something as simple as walking the dog or taking a bike ride with family and friends.  Please try to complete the activites posted today as well as continuing to work on the DEAM calender sent out on Monday.

Notice To Drama Students Grade 6-7 From Mrs Vickers

MS Drama  "A Christmas Carol"

Hey there Drama Class,
Mrs. Barry and I wanted to encourage those of you with parts in the play (speaking or non-speaking) to begin searching up the costumes you will need for your different scenes.  We have discussed this quite thoroughly in class so you can begin gathering clothing items.
If you have your lines at home you can also make sure they are committed to memory. Hopefully we will be back on stage soon as Christmas is coming!  It certainly doesn't look like it today but it is getting closer.  Break a leg!

Students can complete the daily activities associated within the Open Physical Education attachments. Follow the play day to day and sign off and have parents sign paper after activities are completed. Students can also try to complete at least one Tabata fitness station each day and complete all activites by the end of the week. Their are many other ways of getting exercise, walking/jogging, walk with dog/family or just playing with friends or family around the yard. Try to get outside as much as possible enjoying the sun and fresh air which can give the body a much needed boost. Have fun and stay safe.....

If you have any questions or would like to send off pics or videos of your exercise routines they can be sent to

Students should try to complete as many outcomes as possible during the month of No venmber. Each time a student completes an activity they can check it off and have a parent or guardian initial beside each item is completed until all items on list are finished. The goal is to complete a few each day and see if you can complete the entire list. Good luck and let me know how you are making out or if you have completed the list and are looking for a new challenge. This challenge can be done by any grade level, you may have to adjust as you see fit. Talk soon and stay active.

Attached are the calendars for K-8 that students can pick and choose what activities they would like to complete for the last week of home learning. The key is to have fun and stay active no matter what activity you choose to complete. The goal is to get the heart rate up for a minimum of 30 min a day but try to complete 60 minutes a day of moderate to high intensity workouts to get the most from the activity. Have a great last week of learning and hopefully see you back in the fall.
