All parents of Grade 8 students are invited to the school on Monday, April 30, at 6 p.m. for a meeting to discuss the Grade 8 banquet.

We hope you can be there.

There will be lots of activities at the Millerton School on Saturday, so don't miss out!

A pancake breakfast, yard sale, and car wash are just some of the events planned. Plus, there will be a BBQ, live entertainment, face painting, a jumping castle and a dunk tank!

Come out and support the Millerton Home and School from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Word has it that Principal Tom McCabe and MLA Jake Stewart will be in the dunk tank throughout the day, so this is a great chance to do some dunking, while raising money for our school.

The Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to accept film entries for the second annual Kin Film Festival.  All School District 16 students are invited to participate.  Films can be submitted in one of two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category (The Communities Greatest Need).  The top 10 films in each category will be screened on May 12th, 2012 at Miramichi Empire Studio 5.  Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for the winners in each category.

There's no school for students on Friday, but there is an exciting event planned for the Millerton School at 7 p.m.

The annual community variety show is being held.

Several student performers are lined up, as well as popular community singers, like Amy Jardine & Friends.

This variety show is a fundraiser for student council and the Roots of Empathy program, which teaches children to be loving, kind and empathetic.

Admission is $4 per person, or $12 for a family of four.

See you at the concert!

Newcastle Pizza Delight has partnered with our school to help raise money for student council activities.

If each student sells 5 coupons, we will reach our goal.

Please read the attached letter.

Thank you in advance for your support.
