On Saturday, November 27, we had our first special activity hosted by The After School Program. Children could join us for a late night movie and popcorn. I was happy to see so many children attending the screening of Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. We all had a great time and can't wait to do it again! Benjamin of grade 5 was the lucky one who won the DVD at the end of the night.
Mark your calendar because our next movie day will be on Sunday, December 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. This time , we will get to watch DESPICABLE ME! I wonder who will win the movie this time!
This is Sophie from The After School Program. We found a great way to spend the month of November with our new dinosaur project. All month long, we will learn interesting facts about them, dig for fossils, hatch our own eggs and more.
Please follow the link below and vote for our playground. This is sort of a "playground Idol" competition where the most votes wins the money. The voting period begins today and last for 10 days. You can only vote once per day per email address (thankfully most of us have more than one!!) so please vote as many times as you are allowed! For any of you that don't know we are fundraising to expand the playground at the Millerton school, so please pass this message along to all your contacts as anyone can vote. We need your help so please take a minute and vote!
