Join the Home and School on Saturday November 3rd for our ZUMBA PARTY Fundraiser! From 1-2 the kids can dance and have a great time moving to the groove! Then from 2:30-3:30 it's the adults turn! Come out and get some exercise, having fun while helping a great cause! Only $5.00 per person.

Classes start in Millerton on Wednesday September the 5th. The cafeteria does not open until Monday September 10th. The staff are excited about a new school year and look forward to seeing their classes. If you have any questions about school start up, don't hesitate to call the school on Tuesday September the 4th, the office is open. With our students taking part in year end field trips and activities, we have a few changes in some of our dismissal times. On Monday June 18th and Tuesday June 19th all students will be dismissed at 3:00 pm. There will only be one afternoon run on those days from the MIllerton school. On Wednesday June 20th the Grade 3,4 and 5 classes will be dismissed at 2:00 pm following the track and field activities . The grade 3,4 and 5 will be travelling home on the early run (2:00pm) on the 20th only.

The Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to
accept film entries for the second annual Kin Film Festival. All School
District 16 students are invited to participate. Films can be submitted
in one of two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category (The Communities Greatest Need). The top 10
films in each category will be screened on May 12th, 2012 at Miramichi
Empire Studio 5. Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for
the winners in each category.
