Hi class,

This week I have assigned 2 biographies on Epic for you to choose from - Wayne Gretzky or Anne Frank. When you finish the book there is a quiz for you to take. Last week I assigned the short biography on Malala Yousafzai. Biographies tell the story of a real person's life. I tried to pick ones I thought you would find interesting.

In writing, I would like you to write a letter to someone in the future describing what life is like right now, telling how things in our wiorld have changed because of the pandemic and are so different from before. Don't forget to make paragraphs as you make your different points, and to add supporting descriptions or details.

Remember if you have any questions, or need help, just email me. I see many of you have been on Epic. If you need help getting on or with a password just email me. I have emailed your parents with the link to follow to get on Epic.

Have a great week!

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Easter!

This week I would like everyone to read a short book I have assigned. It is about a remarkable young woman, Malalal Yousafzai. There will be a quiz to do at the end. I see some of you were able to log on at home. Anyone who needs help with this can just email me. Shout out to Kate who is doing a great job using this resource!

In writing, I would like you to just write a respnse to this book - your thoughts, or feelings, on what you read, or something that stood out for you. Maybe something that you were amazed by or that you found interesting.
