There are two lessons in the Grade 7 workbook that are a good review for the topic of probability.

Workbook Unit 7.5 Page 164

Workbook Unit 7.6 Page 167

I have also attached a "Home Learning Map" for the material that we would have covered during the rest of this school year. It will also be posted under the "Documents" tab on this page. It's divided up into topics that we would have covered and there are weblinks to lessons that will better help you understand the material if you're struggling with some topics.

Stay safe Grade 7!

There is another unit in the textbook and workbook that you can look at and attempt that also involves fractions, decimals, and percents.

Try the questions you understand and don't stress about the material you may not understand.

I've also posted a Home Learning Map for the material we will cover for the rest of the school year.

It's in the "Documents" tab and labeled "Home Learning Map Grade 6".  It contains links that can help better explain some of the material we are working on that you don't understand.

Stay safe Grade 6!

I've attached the answer key for Workbook Unit 5 Lesson 2 from last week.

The next section moves from fractions into decimals.  There's two assignments that you can try to get an understanding of how fractions are related to decimals.

If you can't figure out some of the questions don't get stressed out about them.  Try to do the questions that you can, that's all you can ask for.

Good luck with them.

Stay safe Grade 5 and enjoy the nice weather!

I've attached a quiz, along with the answers, that you can try out to get an idea of how well you are understanding rates.

Hopefully you had a chance to try out the questions last week on sample space.  The next section builds on sample space and deals with probability.

A key concept to remember with this section is that probability can be expressed as a ratio, a fraction, and a percent.

Don't get hung up on some of the questions if you don't understand them.  We'll be revisiting this material in the fall to get caught up.  Again, don't get stressed about the material.

Here are two links that can help you better understand probability.

I've attached the answers for the questions from the textbook Unit 5 Lesson 7 #1-13.

I've also added a link to an online lesson and activity that deals with percents.

It's always a good idea to practice your multiplication facts and don't forget to try some Dreambox lessons if you get a chance.

I've attached the answers for last weeks questions from the textbook.  The questions were from Unit 5 Lesson 2 #1-12.

There is a lesson from the workbook that goes along with the questions from last week.

Workbook Unit 5 Lesson 2 Page 70.

A copy of the workbook is located under the documents tab.

Don't forget to keep practicing those multiplication facts and trying out some of the lessons on Dreambox.

Stay safe Grade 5 and enjoy the nice weather.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again soon so we can play some multiplication bingo.
