The Bears tried their best to defend their title but fell short in the Semi-Final losing to Burnt Church. The team rebounded with a 7-2 victory in the Consolation Game to capture Bronze.  A reminder to all team members to return  their uniforms on Monday.

Friday, October 29th is our next shake day for students at Millerton School.  Jacob and Riley will visit each homeroom in the morning to take orders after the morning walking program.  Remember that a healthy choice is the best choice!

The Grade 6 class will be tracking the walking progress of all Middle School students starting Monday, October 25th.  We are asking that you keep track of your laps each morning so that the Grade 6 students can record the results and keep us all up to date on our progress.  It will be interesting to see how far our feet can take us!

Students explored the characteristics of Op Art and looked at different forms that we find around us today.  They created some very interesting work after learning about this artistic style.

There will be basketball for any boys in grades 3,4 and 5 on Wednesday night from 6 PM until 7:45 PM at Gretna Green.  Miramichi Hoops are looking for boys for Junior Mini, and Senior Mini for the 2010-11 basketball season.  All boys that would be interested in playing basketball this winter are welcome to attend.

Today over 50 Shakes were sold to the students to make our first Shake it Up Friday a success. A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who helped to make our first day run so smoothly. Our next shake day will be Friday, October 29th.
