The Lakers finished off the Celtics on Monday to earn their way to the final where they will meet the Mavericks.  The series will be a best of three which starts Wednesday, Feb 2nd.  This will determine the winner of the MBA this year.  Best of luck to both teams.
The Boys Middle School Team will host 2 teams from EWG, Harkins JV and Miramichi Rural on February 18th and 19th.  League play has been quite even throughout the year and the tournament should feature a lot of close games. The Tournament will start Friday after school and wrap up Saturday evening with the Consolation game slated for 6:00 and the Final at 7:30.  Be sure to drop by and check out some of the Basketball action.

The students remain undefeated in the annual students vs staff basketball challenge.  In the event's 3 year history the staff has only been able to manage a tie. Thanks to all of the coaches and staff who took part in the event again this year.  The game is always a great way to wrap things up before the Christmas break.

The girls split a pair of games this week defeating the Harkins JV squad on Tuesday and dropping a physical game against the JV team from Dr. Losier.  The girls have only dropped one decision this year and hope to rebound next week when they visit NSER.
