We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Monday, Feb.23. If there are any storm days we will move the cebration forward for each storm day. Students are to bring their project on the day of the celebration.

The week of Oct.6th is a short week. Students will not be coming to school on Oct. 9 and and 10th as teachers will be attending meetings. Also,Monday Oct.13th will be Thanksgiving. We will not be taking home words to study on the 3 day week as it is such a short week. However; we will spend the time to work on the long list of words I sent home in Sept. Have a great weekend.

A sincere 'Thank You' is extended to all the families that sent in treats during 'Staff Appreciation Week.' The stickers,erasers, pens, pencils and other supplies will be put to good use. Also, the fudge,candy and other yummy treats were enjoyed by all. Thank You,Mrs.Simpson

Grades K-4 will be going skating Monday, Nov.18th. I believe the time is 8:45-9:45. You will not be allowed on the ice without skates and a helmet. Let's get ready to have lots of fun!

Mrs. Vickers' choir started practicing for the Remembrance Day Service. Grade 1-8 students can join, but you must attend the practices at noon from 12:15-12:40 every Monday and Thursday.
The Home and School have organized a Sock Hop for the Kindergarten to Grade Five students. This will take place after lunch on Thursday Oct.24th. Bring a costume if you would like to dress up for this event. There will be treats and prizes. Let's have a spooktacular time!!
