Homework week of April 6th

Read each day- 15 minutes. Remember to refer to the strategies that are in your reading booklet. Read to Someone, Read to Self or Read to your pet or favorite teddy bear!!

Sight Words- This week I'd like you to review the sight words in your duo tang that are on the 'roll and write' pages. Have fun! We need to know these to successfully read and write!!

Writing- I'd like you to start a journal. Write about a fun or interesting thing you do or see each day. Spring is in the air so there are lots of new things we see and hear outside eah day.

-use complete sentences

-pay attention to letter spacing, punctuation and spelling

- try to use a few fancy words

Math- Let's begin reviewing some of the big things we have worked on this year. 

-counting forward and backward to 100. Don't forget '0.' Use different start and end points. ex: 22-37; 73-61

-read number words to 20

-count by2s to 20, 5s  and 10s to 100

Play outside every day! Get some fresh air! I started getting outside and it feels great!!
