Put your thinking caps on for this one... What happened to the two thieves who stole the calendar?......They each got six months!! LOL

Today we are starting our measurement unit! You will need spaghetti, macaroni and rice to use for the math!

Tuesday:

a)     Please select 5 small items from your bedroom…it could be a clock, kleenex box, stuffed animal, toy etc. and measure each item first with the macaroni, then with the spaghetti and lastly with the rice. On a piece of paper, write down your findings like this:    (you can make a chart if you want)

Example… Toy = 14 macaroni     1 spaghetti      30 rice

b)     Please select 2 big items like your bed, dresser, pillow etc. and measure each item first with the macaroni, then with the spaghetti and lastly with the rice. Then write down your findings.

Have fun with measuring your items!! If you can, take pictures and send them to my email so I can see how you’re doing!!!

***Also, please work on any math sheets that are not complete before logging on to Dreambox!!!

Then, please log on to Dreambox either on a tablet or home computer and get some coins by playing the games for at least 20 minutes.
