Hello, my Grade 4/5 Literary geniuses! I miss all of you, but I hope you had a great weekend!! :)

If you haven’t already, please go to the school and pick up your 25 Rules duo tangs. At the front I have also put in another copy of your spelling words to study for this week if you didn’t already have them at home with you from the weekend.

Please use today to finish all of Rule 6 if you didn’t already on Friday.

Then please write a paragraph (4 - 6 sentences) about at home learning. Please include the following in your sentences:     (hint 1 sentence may have several items below in it)

1. Use a singular noun    (rule 6)
2. Use a plural noun        (rule 6)
3. Write a compound sentence using ‘and’, ‘or’, or ‘but’ (rule 4)
4. Use a proper noun       (rule 5)
5. Use a common noun   (rule 5)
6. Use a statement sentence        (rule 1)
7. Use an exclamation sentence (rule 1)
8. Write complete sentences with a subject and predicate         (rule 2)

Some questions to think about:

• Do you like or not like home learning?
• What do you miss about school?
• What are you doing at home when you’re not working on schoolwork?

Also, read over and study your spelling words.
