The Millerton Home and School is offering prizes this year for the most outstanding costumes.
Committee members have been busy preparing for the annual event, which will include a variety of games and prizes, a canteen, bake sale, entertainment and lots of fun activities such as face painting and tattoo air brushing.
This is a great family event. Come and bring your friends and neighbours. Everyone is invited!

The Millerton Playground Committee continues to seek support for a new school playground, with its next big event on Saturday, May 7.

Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to accept film
entries for the first annual Kin Film Festival. All School District 16
students are invited to participate. Films can be submitted in one of
two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category. The top 10 films in each
category will be screened on May 7th, 2011 at Miramichi Empire Studio
5. Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for the winners
in each category.
